Bert (from ship): Astronomers at an isolated polar antenna array claim they're hearing what they call 'Martian Mystery Music.'

Bert: The media are having a field day.

Back in the pilot compartment. Ernie is rolling his eyes.

Bert: Superstitious types – and historic science fiction buffs – are saying it's 'the ghosts of Mars.'

Same scene, new angle.

Bert: Reggie got wind of it and apparently has some background in paranormal debunking.

Bert: He volunteered, they accepted and now he's on his way.
