Krumm and Tarrant, the latter bending over
to secure a line to the tafrail. He speaks in a whisper, without
looking up at the captain.

Tarrant (whispers): 'With respect, sir, I must get my _Kestrel_ off
the hull before the Jendyne stave her.'

Krumm (comically, out of the side of his mouth): 'Your little ship is
armed, is she not?'

PANEL TWO (upper righthand quarter of page)

Closeup on Tarrant, looking grim and tough, and speaking mostly to
the deck.

Tarrant: 'Always and forever, Captain. Taken by pirates once is
enough. _Kestrel_ has weapons the Jendyne are unlikely to have seen
before -- '

PANEL THREE (lower lefthand quarter of page)

Closeup on Tarrant, his hands palms outward and held level with
his face. His fingers are splayed outward, as if pantomiming an
explosion.

Tarrant: 'And a self-destruct device that would clear the Void halfway
from here to -- '

Krumm grimaces, as Tarrant continues 'working'.

Krumm: 'Then by all means, get her off my hull. Discreetly, if you
can. I trust you will put your weapons -- all but the self-destruct --
to good use.'

Tarrant: 'Aye, Captain, that I will.'
