The Transcript For This Page
PANEL ONE (upper lefthand quarter of page)
The young lookout's mate slides down the rigging and addresses
Krumm and Holder who have their backs to the reader.
Boy: 'Mr Ngo. says belay the boarders, sir. They're breaking off!'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PANEL TWO (the other 3/4 of the page)
The battle, as seen from nearby space. One of the Jendynes is
staying back a little, avoiding engagement. The other's lower hull is
all but touching that of the _Resplendent Quetzal_. The two ships meet
at an acute angle. This is the vessel that's trying to break off.
All three ships are very badly damaged, and debris (including
human bodies) floats around them like a horrible cloud.
Krumm (from the command deck of _Resplendent Quetzal_): 'So I see,
young fellow. Thank Mr. Ngo for me.'
Holder (also unseen, but on the command deck): 'Boarders stand you
fast! Thrust into their rigging!'
