We are looking over Bretta's shoulder as she hangs in space, at a
distance from the fighting vessels. We can see that she's mounted on
Rakush, and has the other _lamina_ with her, all of them surrounded by
their overlapping, faintly-glowing #-fields.

Four starsailing ships, with _Resplendent Quetzal_ at the center.
One of the original Jendyne attackers stands well off from the other
three. The other one has drifted away from _Resplendent Quetzal_ a
bit.

The latest arrival, half again _Resplendent Quetzal_'s size, with
a taller mast, longer spars, and half again as many decks, is
apparently thrusting, not at Krumm's vessel, but at the Jendyne vessel
closest to her, blasting chunks out of her hull and rigging.

Being towed at the end of a long cabelle, we can just make out
Tarrant's _Kestrel_.

Bretta: What is that trailing from the stern of this new interloper?
