Panel 1
Ext. scene, a location on the outer surface of TLP's air skin, some place not close to Damocles Station, but still near the equator. The Pale Man's personal transport pod settles to the skin's surface.
Pale Man (thought): Now, that's strange.

Panel 2
Pod is stationary just a few inches above the surface. The canopy has slid back to reveal the Pale Man in his environment suit
PM: At this altitude there should be some light gravity, but I can't sense any gravity at all.

Panel 3
The Pale Man has emerged from the pod. Hanging on his belt is a hand-held maneuvering unit, which something like a futuristic spray-paint can attached to a sprayer gun, which has a small bell-shaped rocket nozzle at the firing end. He has two large semi-auto pistols, holstered in thigh rigs on each leg. He's reaching back into the cockpit for something else.

PM: WTF is going on here?
