Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter 2

The epic Not-Safe.Space story continues with Part 2, and Scott requires funds to publish a print volume of _Not-Safe.Space_ Chapter 2.

This large-format, 48-page trade paperback is a must for fans of Eithne Lamdagan, aka The CUSH Queen, and her friends

The campaign begins Sunday, April 6 and concludes Tuesday, May 8.

The brothers continue their work assembling the equipment.

Bert: We have no downside and some really amazing upsides.

Ernie: How amazing?

Bert pauses in his work, holding his wrench in one hand and ticking off items on his fingers of the other hand.

Bert: The scans tell us the mascon weighs about 200 kilos, and has a specific gravity of at least 18.

Bert: That means it must be a fairly pure chunk of osmium, iridium, platinum, plutonium, gold, or tungsten.

Bert continues attaching an exterior panel to the mass driver, using his wrench.
Bert: If it's gold or platinum, we'll make more money than we ever have. Osmium or iridium would yield 20-33 percent of that, still a nice haul.
