One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Medium shot of the Mass Driver. No longer tumbling. The intake funnel is gone now, and Ernie is perched in the intake opening, looking for the world like a tourist relaxing on a chaise lounge at a hotel pool-side.

Ernie: Well, you took your sweet time rescuing me.

Panel 2
Swing view around so we're looking past Ernie at Little Toot, about 50 meters away and slowly angling towards Ernie from the right. We can see Bert's un-helmeted head through a viewport near the front of the craft.

Bert: Well, after I retook Little Toot, the four of us decided to play some poker.

Panel 3
Medium close-up of Bert, smiling sweetly as he looks out the port towards Ernie.

Bert: Hey, I won over three and a half grams.
Bert: Then there was a Casablanca rerun on the Tanglenet, and ...
Panel 4
Medium shot of Ernie, bracing his arms against the sides of the Mass Driver intake opening, looking a bit irritated.

Ernie: Ha ha, Bert. Have your little laugh.
Ernie: You're just pissed 'cause I outsmarted you.

Looking past Ernie at Little Toot, now about 10 meters away and at station-keeping with the mass driver. She is oriented facing leftward, and the airlock hatch on the side facing Ernie is open.

Bert: No, you out-connived me. It's clear where your kid got her genes.
Bert: Anyway, I've opened the port hatch. Get on board.

Panel 6
Medium close-up of Ernie, bracing himself in the intake opening, looking a bit nervous.

Ernie: Uh, Bert, can you get a bit closer? You're like, 10 meters away.

Panel 7
Medium close-up of Bert, grinning an evil grin.
Bert: Jump, smart boy.
