Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Wally and Gus stand by a control panel positioned on the side of the Fabricator.
Gus: Ok, I've showed you how the fab processor works. We did the kitchen cabinetry together.
Gus: Now, I want you to do the master bathroom fixtures.
Panel 2
The four men standing around the bathroom fixtures out-put from the back end of the fabricator. It's a nice set: toilet, sink, bath enclosure, medicine cabinet. But they're all a bit less than 1/3 their proper size.
Wally: Um …. I guess I used the wrong scale.
Panel 3
Gus, Wally and Max stand before a stack of fabbed wall-sections. In one hand he holds forth something that looks like a glue-gun (actually, a micro-welding device), in the other, an electronic clipboard with an architectural-type drawing on the display
Gus: Max, take Wally and assemble those wall-sections. Here's the welder and the plans.
Gus: Don't screw this up.
Panel 4
Wally is sprawled amidst a tumble of collapsed and broken wall sections. Max is sitting on the edge of the rubble, looking stunned. Gus is standing to one side, looking exasperated. Manny is also standing by, hands on hips. He's lost his patience.
Max: Boss, I swear …
Wally: Um ….
Panel 5
Manny is walking back to his personal vehicle, his back to us, he's waving his right hand in a gesture of dismissal. Gus is walking after him, arms held wide in a pleading gesture. Wally and Max look on from either side of the panel.
Max: So much for this job.
Gus: But, Sov. Hernandéz ...
Hernandéz: CLODS! IDIOTS!

Panel 6
The Fabricator is on the move, heading back to the Cooper seastead. Wally and Gus are in the driver-cab.
Wally: Dad, I'm sorry I'm not cut out for this work.
Gus: Yeah, I get the picture. I won't be bringing you to work again.

Panel 7
Two-shot of Wally and Gus in the cab. Gus is smouldering with repressed anger, but keeping it together. Wally is trying not to look too pleased by what his father is saying in this panel.
Gus: Go back to your … whatever-it-is you think you should be doing.

Panel 8
Same shot. Now, Wally is not looking pleased at all. Gus talks through gritted teeth.
Gus: I'm a fair man, so I'm giving you 30 decadays to figure out how to earn a living.
Gus: Then, you either pay rent or you're out on your kiester.
