On Their Way....
This is a message for the IGG QV9 backers! For those of you who ordered physical perks, they are on their way via USPS. For those of you who selected one or more of the PDF perks, you should have received an email from DriveThruComics.com. That email contains links to the vouchers you need to download your copy of the PDF you requested.
If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check your spam folder. If you still can't find the email from DriveThruComics, let us know and we'll get the links you need.
Signing and Shipping
Scott has finished autographing all the books, and we've started shipping them out. Your physical perks should show up in the next week or so (might be a bit longer for international shipments). We expect to send out vouchers (via email) to those who wanted the PDF e-books.
Once again, many thanks to our backers. Stand by for further updates.
The Transcript For This Page
Panel 1
We're in another room in the King's Court. It's like an office, but not Reggie's private office. It looks more like a simple law office, with a desk behind which Reggie sits, with Babbette standing next to him holding something that looks like an iPad, which she's looking at intently. In front of the desk stand two individuals (Belters, otherwise artist's choice of gender, ethnicity, attire, etc.), one of whom is speaking to Reggie. They are plaintiff and respondent in an arbitration case. There are eight simple chairs arranged in two rows behind the plaintiff and respondent, currently empty
Caption (Reggie): 'Babbette started by doing some work for my church. She ran the docket for my arbitration, counseling services and micro-lending operation.'
Panel 2
Now Babbette is seated at the same desk. She has a church collection plate on the desk in front of her, and she is counting the various coins, cokens, notes, etc. while recording the amounts on her Pad.
Caption (Reggie): 'We pass the plate during church services, and I had Babbette count the donations and then go to the bank and deposit the funds.'
Panel 3
Babbette at a teller window at the bank, handing over an envelope stuffed with notes and coins, etc.
Caption: 'It was necessary to give her a position of trust, so she could prove to herself that she could be responsible.'
