Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
At the restaurant in the Hôtel de Crillon. This time Merry is having lunch with the boys, keeping in touch. Merry is speaking to Lawrence.
Merry: So, Lawrence, you and Kinko are both moving out tomorrow?
Lawrence: Yeah, we both got jobs at NoPoTo-2, and the commute from here is a real bitch – pardon the expression.

Panel 2
Kinko, Merry and Lawrence
Kinko: Yeah, we're getting a 2-bedroom apartment at the tower.
Merry (to Lawrence): So I'd heard Kinko got that hog-farming job, but how did you end up working there?

Panel 3
Medium shot of Lawrence, smiling and shrugging.
Lawrence: Hey, not many people know I'm a master grower as well as a, ah, consumer of the herb superb.

Panel 4
Flash-back scene, Lawrence tending a large indoor marijuana 'grow garden,' hydroponic trays filled with 5-foot tall, blossoming hemp plants. He's carefully examining one of the buds attached to one of the plants.
Caption (Lawrence): 'I was once the top grower in Mendocino County, in the California sector.
Caption: 'My customers referred to the doobies from my plants as 'Larry Loads.'

Panel 5
Cut to a scene at the Mojave Spaceport on Terra. In a darkened corner, Lawrence is meeting with Kinko and Morris, who is handing #10 envelopes to the other two men while looking over his shoulder. The scene is very paranoid-tense.
Caption (Lawrence): 'Unfortunately the UW did not share my customers' high regard for my product.
Caption: 'I was just one step ahead of them when I met Lawrence and Morris.

Panel 6
Back to the hotel restaurant, Lawrence is finishing his story. We see everyone at the table. Kinko is raising his glass to Morris in a toast-gesture, but Morris is looking bored.
Lawrence: Morris had connections and got us letters of transit, that allowed us to escape from Terra.
Kinko: Yeah, man, we owe our freedom to Morris.
Morris: Damn straight.
