Back To Normal... Yay!

And we're back! Scott's power and Internet was restored a few days ago, and Scott spent that time since diligently working to get the next strip up. As many of you may have heard, huricane Beryl caused a lot of damage to buildings and infrastructure in the Houston area. It also took out power and Internet service on Galveston Island where Scott lives. As a consequence, uploads of Quantum Vibe will be delayed until power and Internet services are restored. Hopefully it will only effect Monday's strip, but we can't promise anything at this point. In any event, we will resume uploads as soon as possible. Please check back here for further developments.

The scouts are recovering from their laughing spasm, well enough that Libby is able to speak, first to Jim.
Libby: Geez, Jim, I almost lost it when Robyn said 'He's dead, Jim.'

Now Libby speaks to Robyn, who lowers her eye and smiles graciously, blushing a bit.
Libby: Damn girl, you are a smokin' actress!
Libby: You quoted those lines from the classics with a completely straight face.
Panel 3
Shot taking in Jim, and Libby and Robyn. Libby is still speaking to Robyn.
Libby: It scared me and I knew it was a lie.
Jim: Ernie's alive?

Similar shot. Libby shoots a haughty-yet-prideful look and shrug of one shoulder at Jim, as she responds.
Libby: Well, duh!
Libby: My dad is too tough to kill that easily.
