Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

Panel 1
Flashback/memory scene: Guy's grandparents' farm near Ajaccio, on the French island of Corsica. Two young boys, Guy and Pierre as children, are playing among some trees by a brook which traverses the property. Guy is the younger, aged about 8, Pierre the older, aged about 12. Both are play-fighting (up to now) with wooden mock-swords. In this frame Pierre is lunging forward, using his size advantage, as Guy barely parries a chopping-swing.
Pierre: Have at you, Italian dog!
Guy: Pierre, why do you always get to be Napoleon?

Panel 2
Pressing his attack, Pierre knocks Guy's sword out of his hand.
Pierre: Because I am the oldest, Guy!
Pierre: And you are apathique with a sword, English swine!

Panel 3
Guy falls backward to ground, Pierre looms over him.
Guy: I thought I was an Italian dog!
Pierre: Do not think you can confuse me! You are an English swine!

Panel 4
Pierre holds his sword aside and cuffs Guy a few times with his left fist as Guy vainly tries to fend off the blows from the larger and stronger boy.
Guy: Uh, what battle is this?
Pierre: Waterloo, of course! Napoleon won at Waterloo!
