Leon sits on the couch in his "trance" in each panel, same camera angle on each. Terry is seen moving around,cooking, in the kitchen in the background.
Narration: Whenever Leon went into one of his “trances,” he was barely aware of his surroundings.
Narration: Terry was convinced that if the house ever caught fire during one of Leon's trips to inner-space, she would have to shoulder him into a fireman's carry and haul his sorry ass out of the inferno.
Narration: During those sessions, Leon would not tolerate interruptions of any sort. So Terry knew to just wait for his return.
Panel 4
Terry is putting food on a plate in the kitchen with saran-wrap close by. Through the doorway we can see Leon sitting on the couch.
Leon: Mmumble....
Leon: Ha!
