Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter 2

The epic Not-Safe.Space story continues with Part 2, and Scott requires funds to publish a print volume of _Not-Safe.Space_ Chapter 2.

This large-format, 48-page trade paperback is a must for fans of Eithne Lamdagan, aka The CUSH Queen, and her friends

The campaign begins Sunday, April 6 and concludes Tuesday, May 8.

Panel 1
Looking past Drenkowski at Collin and Jackie running back into the hangar through the same side door they came through. We can see Collin's weapon still laying on the ground. Drenkowski is shouting after them.
Drenkowski: After we take off, retrieve your weapon, so you'll have it when your bosses get here..
Drenkowski: Tell them three of us pinned you down under heavy fire.
Panel 2
Drenkowski is spraying the wall of the hangar with bursts from his rifle.
SFX: B-D-D-DOW! B-D-D-DOW! B-D-D-DOW!
Panel 3
Drenkowski is now turning away from the Hangar, looking back along the runway. He's touching something on the side of his visor.
Drenkowski: Oh, shit.
Panel 4
We see what Drenkowski sees: in a magnified view down the runway, a large firetruck is pulling onto the runway, heading directly towards our heroes.
SFX: VWOOOP! VWOOOP! VWOOOP!
Panel 5
In the cockpit, Drenkowski is dropping down directly into his pilot's seat. The others are getting into their seats (it's a bit crowded in the back but everyone fits). Drenkowski is shouting and the others look a bit alarmed by his sudden action.
Drenkowski: Strap in!
Panel 6
Wide panel – in the foreground left, Free Bird is starting its takeoff roll. In the background right, the firetruck is racing towards them.
Drenkowski: This is going to be real damn close.
