Kickstarter Success!
The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
The Transcript For This Page
Panel 1
A meeting of the new Vesta Council. You have a long table on a slightly raised platform behind which sit five personages, all of them Mascons, with Marsha in the center seat. Somewhere to the side a secretary is taking notes. On the wall behind the table is a large sign saying, "VESTA COUNCIL". Standing casually before the council is a Local. Two other Locals stand about a meter behind him.
Caption: Marsha and her council quickly set up offices and a meeting room in Vesta's 'Pumpkin Center' office complex.
Local: It turned out that some maintenance person had left an access hatch open, allowed a miniscule amount of radioactive dust to fall directly on a detector.
Local: No one was ever in any real danger.
Panel 2
Three-shot of Marsha and the other council members on either side of her.
Marsha: If such dangerous carelessness is rampant at Vesta Power perhaps its time to require that you hire additional guards and safety personel.
Mascon1: I second that motion.
Panel 3
Medium shot of the Local with his two friends flanking him.
Local: Wha -- it's hardly fair to saddle our company with this burden.
Marsha (OP): Don't worry, we'll order the other nuclear power companies to do the same.
Panel 4
Looking at an angle down the Council table so we see Marsha and the two council members on the left side of her.
Mascon3: In the interest of fairness we should include the solar plant operators.
Marsha: Makes sense, so amended. All in favor?
