The Transcript For This Page
PANEL ONE (upper lefthand quarter of page)
Crawling on hands and knees through the tube to the _Nacyl_ ship.
Show what you can. The _Nacyl_ are in the lead. The main attraction is
Bretta's cute little backside in her cutoffs, and the naked backs of
her thighs. Tarrant is following her. I suppose you could just show
his head and shoulders.
Narrative (Tarrant): 'I had to bite my tongue to avoid expressing
admiration for Mistress Islay's many splendid qualities.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PANEL TWO (upper righthand quarter of page)
A cross-section of part of the _Nacyl_ ship. It looks a bit like
an antfarm, with the place of the dirt taken, Geiger-like, by tightly
packed complex-looking machinery and electronics. The tunnels are
about four feet high, shaped in cross section like a capital D on its
back. The humans must remain on their hands and knees.
We see Bretta and Tarrant being led by Sigurdson and Sherrinford.
Sigurdson: 'This way to the bridge, if you please, dear friends -- ah,
the translators are working -- it isn't much further.'

PANEL THREE (lower half of page)
The 'bridge' of the _Nacyl_ ship. Its floor plan is an oval perhaps
twenty feet from end to end. There are portals at either end. In
cross-section, the room is like the corridors, only larger, except
that it gradually tapers off at the ends, like a football. Instruments
of all sorts are built into the walls. In the center, on one wall, is
a large viewing screen. At the moment, it's showing a view of
_Resplendent Quetzal_'s sails, seen from underneath.
Bretta and Tarrant sit cross-legged on the floor to one side,
while Sigurdson and Sherrinford are at the other. Somehow, the aliens
are controlling what's on the screen, not using any physical contact.
Sherrinford: 'Our datastream tells us you possess one of our vessels,
considerably modified for human use.'
Bretta: 'My runabout. It has no stardrive. Interplanetary only.'
Sigurdson: 'This is what our ship 'sees' now, looking up from your
hull, into the sails and rigging.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PANEL FOUR
The two Nacyl to one side of the screen display an image, part
real time, part computer generated, very similar to the cruder one
Echeverria-Estrella drew by hand.
Sigurdson: 'This is what our ship sees with its ... you would call it
'tachyon radar'.'
Sherrinford: 'The images are of the Jendyne system. Those furthest
away are several hours old.'
