The Transcript For This Page
PANEL ONE (upper half of page)
The middle gundeck (orange), fully crewed. Smoke, orderly
confusion, the sound of projectibles.
Deck officer: 'Thrust as ye bear!'
Narrative (Tarrant): 'Our repairs done with, back on course, and with
a clear-cut destination, we began drilling again.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PANEL TWO (lower lefthand quarter of page)
_Resplendent Quetzal_, seen from space. Between the ship and the
reader, an asteroid the size of a large house, having a big chunk
blown out of it by the ship's projectibles.
Narrative (Tarrant): 'But it was different this time ... '
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PANEL THREE (lower right quarter of page)
_Kestrel_ swoops down on the asteroid, strafing it with projectible
thrusts. The swooping should be big and graceful, the little spaceship
spinning as it goes.
Tarrant (from inside _Kestrel_): 'yeehaw!'
