PANEL ONE (upper lefthand quarter of page)

Krumm and Holder on the uppermost, or command deck, with busy
crewmembers all around them. Both men look up into the rigging, which
we only see the bottom traces of. Holder has a megaphone in his hand.

Krumm: 'Pass the word, Mr. Holder. The quantum current is strong,
hereabouts. Prepare to come about on the opposing tack!'

Narrative (Tarrant): 'Underway again. Weeks passed. As our distance to
Jendyne space dwindled, the Baker drilled his crew mercilessly.'

PANEL TWO (upper righthand quarter of page)

Looking down from the lowermost or mizzentier spars at the Captain
and Mr. Holder.

Holder (through the megaphone): 'Aye, Captain! All hands aloft!
Prepare to come about on the opposing tack!'

PANEL THREE (lower lefthand quarter of page)

Out on a spar, high aloft in the uppermost or foretier, arms over
the spar, and feet on the footrope which parallels the spar beneath
it, Tarrant, with another crewman on each side.

Crewman: 'Again? That's the fifth time in -- '

Tarrant: 'And you're five times likelier to survive a real encounter
when it comes!'

PANEL FOUR (lower righthand quarter of page)

Looking toward the mast, past Tarrant and his mates, we see a
boyish officer.

Officer: 'You there on the yard! Keep quiet and await the next
command!'
