This is a preview of: Phoebus Krumm

The Transcript For This Page

Four Panels

PANEL ONE (upper lefthand quarter of page)

Shot of Krumm, one elbow on the arm of his chair, leaning his
chin on his palm. The view is too tight to show the waiting girls. We
see him past the black silhouette of Demondion-Echeverria, whose word
balloon must be higher than Krumm's.

Demondion-Echeverria: 'But that's not why I'm here -- '

Krumm (glances left): 'Disturbing my meditations.'

----------------------------------------------------------------------

PANEL TWO (upper righthand quarter of page)

Closeup of Demondion-Echeverria, in profile. Past him we can see
the three waiting girls.

Demondion-Echeverria: 'Yes, your, er ... meditations. I have, um,
meditated, and been out already this morning, summoned by the Ceo Lia,
herself. She craves your presence. I am sent to fetch you.'

----------------------------------------------------------------------

PANEL THREE (lower lefthand quarter of page)

Demondion-Echeverria from just above the naughty bits, seen over
Krumm's silhouetted right shoulder, girls not in view.

Krumm: 'Little Lia Wheeler. Let the wench come to me. I've no reason
to budge.'

Demondion-Echeverria: 'How about a ship and a crew? Are they reason
enough?'

----------------------------------------------------------------------

PANEL FOUR (lower right quarter of page)

Krumm stands straight up, nearly -- but not quite -- losing his
sheet, which he grasps with one hand.

Krumm: 'The hell you say! She'd give the old Baker a ship again, after
what happened ... ?'

Demondion-Echeverria: 'I never heard the straight of that, Phoebus.
What exactly did happen?'
