Kickstarter successful and closed

The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.

Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter!

UPDATE to the UPDATE: The problem has been solved, all rewards are now available. I've extended the campaign an extra day, to April 21. Thanks for bearing with me!

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Large establishing shot of the Ceres spaceport terminal. Guy is standing a few meters away from the escalator landing. He clearly doesn’t have as much trouble in the low-gee as he did on his last visit. He is carrying a diplomatic valise, looking around. There are a few people milling around, but no one he knows.

Guy (thought): I did T-mail the Guzmáns that I was coming on this ship.

Guy (thought 2): I also T-mailed Fiorella, but she never responded.

Small panel. Three-quarters view of Caillard, from about the hips up, looking disappointed.

Guy: Has no one come to meet me?


Panel 3
Same shot, but now Caillard is turning in reaction to a familiar voice coming from over his shoulder.

Voice: Hi Guy, it’s me, Babbette!


Guy: Babbette, is that y--
Panel 4


Babbette collides into Guy with a warm hug, knocking the wind out of him. Babbette is 14 Terran Years old now, so she’s 20cm taller and starting to get jail-bait curvy. Her clothes are a bit different and her hair is tied back now rather than in pigtails but she’s still wearing the Ceres Spaceport Agent cap.

Guy: -- OOF!


Panel 5
As Guy somewhat self-consciously disentangles himself from Babbette, Reggie King walks up to greet him. Reggie is wearing a blue work shirt and jeans, looking casual. Guy does a double take as he recognizes the King in such casual habiliments.

Guy: Who – ah! King Reginald?


Panel 6
Guy starts to bow but Reggie stops him with a gentle hand on the shoulder. Standing behind Guy, Babbette giggles.

Reggie: Hey, hey, hey. Someone might see us.

Guy: Oh, I see, Your Majesty. You are here incognito. I understand.
