One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
The cab has made it though the turnpike and into the 'downtown' area, negotiating with the mutli-modal traffic. Leave space for logo.

Reggie: Yes, as our driver says, if they don't agree on the rules, they can't play.

Reggie: So it's in everyone's best interest to come up with reasonable rules and to abide by them.

Panel 2
They pass by Isher's gun shop and the boutique. Guy eyes it warily as they pass by.

Reggie: If they don't, everybody takes their hockey sticks and goes home.

Guy: Or, use them to beat you up if you break a rule.

Panel 3
Reggie and Guy in the backseat. Guy is sitting straight-backed, arms crossed, in a defiant pose.

Reggie: Only in the case of high-sticking, skate kicks and such. Did you see anybody beaten?

Guy: No! But that was just because nobody high-sticked anyone.

Panel 4
Same shot. Both men look at each other, as Guy begins to see the implications of his own words. He has that 'dawning of realization look' on his face, and his arms fall into his lap.

No dialog.

Panel 5
Three-shot of Reggie, Guy and Babbette in the cab. Guy is leaning back in his seat as casually as he can manage, trying to get control of the conversation.

Guy: Okay, your maj--

Guy (2): Okay, Reggie, I get it, but I think there's a big difference between voluntarily playing a game and living in a civilized social order.

Panel 6
The cab pulls up in front of the Water Bros. Boarding House etc. Large scene-setting panel.

Reggie: Is there really?

Reggie (2): Hey Guy, just give it a chance, then tell me what you think, okay?
