One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Reggie in the cargo bay. He has raised his left hand to reveal a fist closed around a small box.

Reggie: Gentlemen, please notice the device in my left hand.

Reggie (2): It is called a 'deadman's' switch.

Panel 2
The cockpit of the shuttle. How we see the crewmen from the front, they are looking at their monitor screen with full attention.

Reggie (filtered): If I don't keep it squeezed tightly in my hand, it will activate.

Reggie (2): If you shoot me, my hand will relax and the switch will close.
Panel 3
Same shot of the crewmen, now looking at each other with alarm.

Reggie (filtered): When that happens, the one-tenth kiloton nuke I am wearing, will detonate.

Panel 4
Close-up of Reggie, seen grinning an evil grin through his helmet visor.

Reggie: So it appears we have a bit of a 'Mexican standoff ' here. What do you propose?

Panel 5
On the bridge of the Gamma Conqueror, Admiral Harris is not pleased by what he hears the Comm Officer telling him.

Comm Officer: Sir, the shuttle advises that King Reginald has a small nuclear bomb with him, hooked to a deadman's switch.

Panel 6
Medium close-up of Harris, angrily barking his orders.
Harris: He's bluffing. Shoot him!

Panel 7
Two-shot of the two crewmen in their cockpit. They are still looking at each other, not moving, wide-eyed, beads of sweat on their faces.
Harris' voice (filtered): Shoot him!

GC Comm officer (filtered): Shuttle, please acknowledge.

Panel 8
Medium close up of Harris, enraged, teeth clenched, veins sticking out at his temples.

Harris: NNRRRGGGHH!!!
