To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
We are back at Arana Awatere's theme park. Doris and Fiorella are just leaving Arana's office after their conference. They are moving along a corridor, pulling themselves along in zero-gee via hand-grips in the walls. Buzz is flying along ahead of them.

Doris: So Arana told us to 'get out there and enjoy' ourselves.

Doris: I don't know about you, but I'd like to get a few hours of sleep before we sally forth.

Panel 2
They continue along the corridor. We see them passing an intersection.

Fiorella: No argument from me.

Fiorella: Buzz, is there someplace we can sleep for a bit?

Panel 3
The girls pause, eyes widening, as Buzz turns to answer them.

Buzz: Yes, Fiorella. Arana has put the presidential suite at your disposal.

Panel 4
Same shot. The girls cast sideways glances at each other as Buzz turns to lead the way.

Buzz: Please follow me.

Panel 5
Very large panel, taking entire remainder of page. Allow space for a small inset Panel 6 in the lower right.

Buzz leads the girls into a hangar, filled with a variety of fanciful flying passenger vehicles. Included are a mechanical winged horse, a 2/3-scale model of Baron von Richtofen's red tri-plane ('the bloody Red Baron'), the Wright Brother's plane, the Apollo lunar lander, a flying carpet, a flying saucer, a convincing 'magic cloud,' something that looks like a giant version of Buzz with 'Buzz Bomb' stenciled on the side, and if there's room, any other fanciful conveyance you can think of.

This is a zero-gee area, full of handrails to assist in human movement. The room is hexagonal, with no particular 'floor'. The aircraft appear to be sitting on walls, ceiling, etc.

Buzz: Doris and Fiorella, these are personal vehicles for use within the park's airskin.

Buzz: Are there any craft here that appeal to you?

Panel 6
Close-up of Doris, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

Doris: Oh, yeah.
