One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Medium shot of Jacob.

Jacob: As you may know, it is not our practice to cooperate with temporal powers, especially when someone's freedom is at issue.

Jacob: I would like to hear your story, before I decide what I must do.

Panel 2
Wider shot, the three of them now seated. Robyn and Sajjan are in passenger seats; Jacob in the pilot's seat which can swivel around allowing him to face his guests. Robyn is gesturing as she tells their story; Sajjan sits passively, Jacob listens intently.
Caption (Robyn): 'So, I spent the next half-our telling Jacob our story, pretty much like I'm telling you now.'
Caption: 'As Jacob listened his face grew more stern with every passing moment.'

Panel 3
Medium shot of Jacob, looking very grave. Leaning forward a bit in his seat, elbows resting on knees, fingers pressed together in front of him.
Caption (Robyn): 'Finally ...'
Jacob: You tell an horrendous story ...

Panel 4
Tight two-shot of Robyn and Sajjan, looking pensive and holding their breaths.

No dialog.

Panel 5
Jacob, now looking more sad than stern, hands resting on his knees.

Jacob: … But I believe you.

Jacob: We have heard … stories about this place.

Panel 6
Jacob has swiveled back around forward in his seat, and is fastening his straps. Behind him, Robyn and Sajjan look at one another with wide-eyed relief.

Jacob: Just before you arrived at my airlock, Tower Control informed me that the situation here was under control. They cleared me for departure.

Panel 7
Robyn and Sajjan happily fastening their own seat-straps.

Jacob (OP): I will fly you to our settlement where members of our congregation will hear your account.

Jacob: They will decide what is to be done. Please strap in.
