One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Strip 49

Panel 1
Still inside the dress shop, Guy rushes up to Babbette, who is examining a scarf.

Guy: Babbette! Have you seen Ms. Stellina?

Panel 2
Without turning or looking at Guy, Babbette hooks a thumb over her shoulder.

Babbette: She got bored, I think, and went next door.

Guy: Next door?

Panel 3
Small panel, close shot on Guy looking stunned.

Babbette (out of panel): You know, Isher’s Firearms.

Panel 4
Inside Isher’s Fine Firearms. In the background, we see Guy at the entrance. In the middle foreground, we see Fiorella at the counter, hefting a Freedom Arms Model 83 Revolver with a 6-inch barrel. A big honking revolver that looks enormous in her hands. She’s holding it with a two-handed grip, pointing the gun upwards, looking it over. In the far right close foreground we can see the back of the gun dealer, facing Fiorella.

We’ll see more of the gun dealer in the next strip, so here’s his description – 195 cm tall, a bit on the heavy side, light brown hair cut medium-short. Looks about 40.
He wears a “half-beard” (what people often erroneously call a “goatee”) which is just a bit on the thin and whispy side. Jawline is a bit receeded, not well-defined. His eyebrows are also thin, and arched. Wide, generous mouth, somewhat broad-lipped for a Caucasian. Nose is also just a bit wide, with a bulbous tip.

Guy: MON DIEU!
