$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Libby, having recovered from her shock, approaches the sergeant, wearing a brave smile.
Libby: Good day and Merry Christmas, sir.
Libby: I am the Ceres Spaceport, uh, concierge. May I be of assistance?

Panel 2
The sergeant looks down at Libby with cold eyes and speaks flatly.
Sergeant: We are staying at Hôtel de Crillon. Can you give us directions?

Panel 3
Full-length two-shot of Libby and the Sergeant. Libby gestures towards her cab parked nearby. It is a newer, somewhat nicer runabout than we saw before, with the name 'Fresh Air Taxi Company' printed on the side.
Libby: Well, I'm also an authorized driver for the Fresh Air Taxi Company.
Libby: I can show you where it is.

Panel 4
Closer two-shot of Libby and the sergeant.
Sergeant: Thank you no, ma'am. I understand it is near. We'll be marching there.
Sergeant: Can you give us directions?

Panel 5
Now Libby and the Sergeant are standing near a display that says 'You Are Here'. It shows a map of the area, with an X on the spaceport. Libby is pointing to the hotel's location on the map, looking defeated.
Sergeant: Thank you, ma'am.

Panel 6
Wide panel. The sergeant leads the now-assembled company (totaling roughly 140 troops) out of the lobby and down one of the pedestrian tunnels.
Sergeant: Company-y-y-y-y, harch! Hrup, hroop, hreep, horp …
Caption: The infantry had landed.
