Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun!

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Carlos and the cart, and more Belters placing their guns on it. In the background, we can see Bert and Ed looking on.
Ed: If the psychology works, we will give these soldiers some doubts about their operation.
Ed: I'm sure they were lied to about why they were here.

Panel 2
Medium two-shot of Bert and Ed, looking out on the plaza.
Bert: And if it doesn't work?
Ed: In that case, Carlos will become our Crispus Attucks, but unlike Boston in 1770, the whole world will be watching.

Panel 3
In the middle ground, Carlos is walking slowly away from us and towards the soldiers in the cafe. He is holdings his arms at his sides, palms forward. In the foreground, Ed and Burt frame the scene.
Ed: Now, let's be quiet and see how well the next part goes.

Panel 4
Carlos stands before the soldiers, about 10 meters away from the edge of the cafe, and talks to them.
Carlos: We are not your enemy.
Carlos: We live here in peace and welcome you to do the same.

Panel 5
Carlos sits down on the ground, cross-legged. Around him we see other unarmed Belters, all of them likewise holding their hands in plain view, walking forward to join him.
No dialog

Panel 6
Now we see the group of Belters sitting cross-legged on the ground, from behind. Beyond them, the soldiers are looking at the Belters and each other in confusion.
No dialog.

Panel 7
Carlos has pulled out a deck of cards and is fanning them for the soldiers to see.
Carlos: Any of you folks care for a friendly game of Texas Hold 'em?

Panel 8
Medium shot of a group of soldiers in the cafe. They are laughing, the tension dissipating. One soldier calls back to Carlos, with a friendly demeanor.
Soldier: Will you play for Continentals?
SFX: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
