Kickstarter Success!
The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter 2
The epic Not-Safe.Space story continues with Part 2, and Scott requires funds to publish a print volume of _Not-Safe.Space_ Chapter 2. This large-format, 48-page trade paperback is a must for fans of Eithne Lamdagan, aka The CUSH Queen, and her friends
The campaign begins Sunday, April 6 and concludes Tuesday, May 8.

The Transcript For This Page
Panel 1
Tall panel. Exterior of the base of the Red Planet Needle. A short train of domed maglev capsules (four capsules each containing six passengers emerges along a track which extends to the edge of the Chasma and then plunges almost straight down the cliff-face.
Caption: The coaster departed the hotel through an air membrane, then rolled over the chasm edge.
Caption: The forward motion was deceptively slow, at first.
Panel 2
Tall panel. The roller-coaster capsules plunge nearly straight down the Chasma wall, along the track, rapidly gaining speed. Make this as dramatic-looking as you can.
Caption: Then the capsules plunged over the rim of Valles Marineris and dropped straight into the 5-kilometer deep canyon.
Panel 3
Tall panel. Inside the forward capsule, Babbette grins with delight, hands still over her head. Reggie is still gripping the safety bar for dear life, eyes wide and face pale. We can see the other four passengers behind them, also looking excited.
Caption: After 25 beats (about 22 seconds) of free fall, the capsule had fallen 890 meters and was traveling nearly 72 kilometers per centime (about 290 km per hour).
