Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The epic Not-Safe.Space story continues with Part 2, and Scott requires funds to publish a print volume of _Not-Safe.Space_ Chapter 2.

This large-format, 48-page trade paperback is a must for fans of Eithne Lamdagan, aka The CUSH Queen, and her friends

The campaign begins Sunday, April 6 and concludes Tuesday, May 8.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Ed and Bert are standing in front of Chez Treif, sipping on soft drinks and looking out on the plaza. Try to show a few Belters and soldiers talking/socializing.
Bert: So he bought the 24-hour extension?
Ed: I think he wanted the extra time to consider his situation. But time is on our side.
Panel 2
Suddenly they both look over at the Hotel de Crillon, from which an amplified voice issues commands.
Voice: ATTENTION! All UW SOLDIERS! CHRISTMAS FURLOUGH IS CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY! ALL FRATERNIZING WILL CEASE! RETURN TO YOUR POSTS!
Panel 3
Now Bert is holding Ed's drink as Ed skeedaddles (Ceres-style) out into the plaza.
Ed: Excuse me, Bert, I gotta talk to Chang.

Panel 4
At the outer rail of the Hotel de Crillon cafe, Chang stands with hands on hips, looking unhappy. Ed is standing before him. In the background, we can see unhappy soldiers trudging back into the hotel.
Ed: You're telling me Rhonda Jones ordered you to end the truce? I thought you were in charge.
Chang: The Black Mamba can overrule me.
