The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Exterior view of the planetoid – a large, black ball, with Sweet Liberty, about 1/10 as long as the ball is in diameter, sticking out of it. In an inset panel show a close-up of Harmon.
Harmon: I'd bet grams to goobers you've landed on a dead Main Belt comet.
Harmon: Their orbits are indistinguishable from those of planetoids; it's just their composition that's different.

Panel 2
Medium close-up of Ernie, in conversation with Harmon. Ernie now has his comm implanted with his Ock, so instead of holding a device to his ear, he holds two fingers over one ear.
Harmon (filtered): They have a small rocky core but are mostly water ice covered with a layer of almost pure carbon dust. A wonderful find.
Ernie: And the crunch sound?

Panel 3
Cut back to Harmon, looking thoughtful as he speaks. Leave plenty of room for dialog.
Harmon: It could be that the carbon dust is extremely fine, like soot.
Harmon: If so, the top layer could have been vacuum welded into a … a sort of crust.
Harmon: Why not toss a trouble-making Scout onto the service and see if he sinks out of sight?

Panel 4
Cut back to a medium shot of Ernie. In the background, we can see that Lili has returned to the control cabin and is listening to Ernie's end of the convo. Ernie is smiling sardonically.
Ernie: Oh thanks, Dan.
Ernie: I do have a candidate, but I'm sure his dad would be annoyed – or maybe not.
