One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Exterior view of the Free Bird descending through Terra's lower stratosphere. Very dark sky above, getting a bit lighter going down. Mainly so that we can see the aircraft, show a bit of re-entry glow around it (not a blazing fire, just a bit of friction-burn riding along the craft's shock-wave).
Caption: As Free Bird descends into Terra's atmosphere ...
Drenkowski (from inside the spacecraft): We'll be landing in a bit less than a centime.

Panel 2
Inside the cockpit of Free Bird, Drenkowski, Bert, Ernie, Mac and Nisa as before.
Drenkowski: Local time is 03:20.
Drenkowski: Everyone down there, except night guards, should be in their deepest level of sleep.

Panel 3
Again, exterior view of Free Bird, this time from above. Several miles below and ahead of the craft, we can see a really long runway, leading to some large hangars. It's night-time, but thanks to the magic of comics we can still see the runway, and the hangars themselves are well-lit with exterior flood-lights.
Drenkowski (from inside the spacecraft): So far, my instruments indicate we have not been detected.
Drenkowski: Since Free Bird is a 'short takeoff and landing' craft we won't need most of the runway, and can set down near those big hangars.
