Kickstarter Success!
The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
The Transcript For This Page
Panel 1
Full-length two-shot of Nowra and Neanne. Both of the teens are wearing basic jump-suits. Neanne's hair is long and straight and tied into a ponytail at the back.
This is the 'reveal' of Neanne. She should look something like this: http://mb.humanists.ca/img/2008/Neanderthal_woman.jpg except with red hair and a longer nose, shorter upper-lip. Just a little bit on the stocky side, arms just a bit too long, legs just a bit too short. She should be not-unattractive but also definitely not 'human.'
Both the kids have their hands up, and they look terrified.
Caption: The two teens were obviously terrified – they had no night-vision visors and Nisa was just a commanding voice in pitch blackness.
Panel 2
Two-shot of Nisa and Mac. Both have lowered their guns, Nisa speaks while Mac suppresses a giggle.
Nisa: Hey, don't pee yourselves.
Nisa: We're the good guys.
Panel 3
Close two-shot of Nowra and Neanne. Nowra is grinning slightly, as Neanne glances in his direction.
Nowra: Too late.
Panel 4
Each girl takes one teen by the hand – Nisa leads Nowra and Mac leads Neanne – and they begin moving back toward the stairwell. We should be able to see Nowra's groin area, and that it is dry.
Nisa (thought): Looks dry to me.
Nisa (thought): Humor in the face of danger. This kid has the right stuff.
Nisa: C'mon, we have night-vision visors so we can lead you out of the building.
Panel 5
Nowra suddenly pulls himself loose from Nisa.
Nowra: I've got to get Gerald!
Panel 6
Nowra moves back down the corridor, one hand in front of him, the other sliding along a wall. Nisa starts to go after him but Mac stops her by grabbing her upper arm. Mac is still holding onto Neanne with her other hand.
Mac. His choice. We have our prime objective.
Mac: He'll just have to catch up with us, if he wants out of here.
