Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun!

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Largish panel. Leave room for logo.

Re-establish the scene: Bert and Reggie and Guy at the conference table. Bert is using a towel to wipe his face after Guy accidentally spewed water at him. Guy is holding the document Reggie gave him and gesticulating wildly.

Guy: But your Maj – but Reginald, this can’t be right!

Guy (2): This says the United World owes you money, over 80 billion Continentals!

Panel 2

Medium c/u of Reggie.

Reggie: That’s just a rough estimate.

Reggie (2): We had to plug in educated guesses about some of the programs for which Cerereans qualify…

Panel 3
Two-shot of Reggie and Guy. Reggie is counting on his fingers as he lists the programs.

Reggie: Earned Income Credit, UW Assisted Housing, Temporary Assistance for the Needy, Medicare, food stamps and SSI.

Guy: But …!

Panel 4
Shift over to show Bert and Reggie. Bert is pouring himself a glass of water as Reggie continues.

Reggie: Our share of various ‘heritage of all mankind’ distributions were easier to compute. We have figures for harvested lunar Helium-3 and polar ice, deep ocean bed metals, Antarctica coal and oil, Mercurian transuranic elements, et ceterah, et ceterah, et ceterah.

Panel 5
Close-up of Reggie, grinning like the cat at the mouse he’s cornered. He’s holding up his own glass of water.

Regggie: Oh, and I almost forgot: the Ceres Water Depletion Allowance.

Panel 6
Medium shot of Guy, reading the document further, a stunned expression on his face.

Guy: I don’t understand this!

Guy: You people are rich! How can we owe you money?

Panel 7
Three shot of Bert, Reggie and Guy. Bert is speaking now, Reggie is sitting back and smiling with his arms crossed, Guy is staring at Bert in disbelief.

Bert: Except for some who trade with Terra, very few Cerereans have Continental-based income.

Bert (2): According to UW’s legal tender laws, we mostly earn ‘non-taxable commodity barter.’
