PANEL ONE


Medium two-shot, Bretta on _lamina_-back looks up at Kombi -- the
railing is between them -- who stoops over to meet her eye.

Bretta: 'Prepare the _lamima_ for travel, Kombi, aboard Captain
Krumm's vessel. Will you come along to care for them? I must return to
the surface. Be ready to sail at first light by the Holdings' clock.'

Kombi: 'Travel? Yes, Miss! Kombi likes travel!'

PANEL TWO

Bretta slips off her mount and is caught midway in hopping over
the rail onto the catwalk. She will alight next to Krumm.

Bretta: 'You're uncharacteristically quiet, Phoebus. Am I wrong to
bring my _lamina_?'


PANEL THREE.

Bretta stands beside Krumm, who is looking thoughtully at the lamina.

Krumm: 'Ah, me, no, medear. I was reflecting on your invention of
spacegoing cavalry .. '



PANEL FOUR

Group shot of Krumm, Bretta next to him, Tarrant, and Frantisek standing to either side. (Kombi has scurried off to start his preparations for travel. Krumm and Bretta seem about to burst out laughing. Tarrant smiles knowingly. Frantisek looks thoughtful.

Krumm: 'I often wonder what the course o'history'll look like after
the Islay family's through with it.'
