Back To Normal... Yay!

And we're back! Scott's power and Internet was restored a few days ago, and Scott spent that time since diligently working to get the next strip up. As many of you may have heard, huricane Beryl caused a lot of damage to buildings and infrastructure in the Houston area. It also took out power and Internet service on Galveston Island where Scott lives. As a consequence, uploads of Quantum Vibe will be delayed until power and Internet services are restored. Hopefully it will only effect Monday's strip, but we can't promise anything at this point. In any event, we will resume uploads as soon as possible. Please check back here for further developments.

Just to break things up a little, let’s make this a larger panel where we’re looking at one of the café patrons in the foreground, having a drink, while Babbette, Guy and Fiorella continue their conversation in the background.

Babbette: Bert and Ernie can brief you about protocol over breakfast.

Close-in three-shot of B, G and F. Guy is looking incredulous.

Babbette: Then they can take you to meet the, uh, Head of State.

Guy: On such short notice?

Looking at G and F from behind Babbette. We see her from the waist up, and that she’s crossing her fingers behind her back.

Babbette: Uh, yes. As luck would have it, he boys already have an audience regarding, uh, matters of state, scheduled for tomorrow at 35.
