QV on a short break

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.

In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.

Kickstarter successful and closed

The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.

Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1
Guy holds up his hands in a placating gesture. Fiorella looks at him with a look of mild bemusement.

Guy: I apologize, Your Majesty. I know that Ceres is not a moon.

Guy (2): ‘The Moon Treaty’ is merely the agreement’s popular name. The actual title is ‘Agreement Governing the Activities of States on the Moon and other Celestial Bodies.’

Panel 2
Same shot, but now Guy and Fiorella are startled by a sudden noise behind them.

SFX: SNORT!

Panel 3
Two boys can be seen crouching behind one of the benches near the back of the room, their heads held up to view the proceedings. They are Billy and Wally, a pair of young boys (ages 9 and 10). (How they will look is left to the artist, except that Billy should be a bit older and taller and is generally the leader of the two.)

Billy: ‘Celestial Bodies!’ *giggle!*

Wally: Oh, no! *giggle* Not those bodies!

Billy: *snerk* They do have activities, though!

Wally: *guffaw* I think there’s some 'moon' involved, too…


Panel 4
Pull back so we see Bert, Ernie, Guy, Fiorella, Babbette, and the King. Billy’s and Wally’s heads are just visible sticking up from behind the bench. The King is bellowing, and everyone freezes.

Reggie: SILENCE!!!
