Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

The Transcript For This Page

Strip 39

Panel 1
Billy and Wally take advantage of Cererean micro-gravity to literally leap out the hatchway and make their escape.

Billy: We’re sorry, Rev … your Majesty.

Wally: Yeah, sorry!

Panel 2
Looking back towards the group at the dais, who are themselves looking towards the hatchway – Bert and Ernie exchange knowing grins, Guy has his usual annoyed look, Fiorella her usual poker face. Babbette is covering her face with her hands, so that the visitors can’t see her suppressing a giggle. Reggie is doing his best to look royally indignant.

Reggie: For the edification of our visitors, 'Celestial Bodies' is a … roaming brothel which brings, ah, comfort services to lonely miners in the farther planetoids.

Reggie: I will deal with those two rapscallions later.

Panel 3
Guy and Fiorella, Fiorella is speaking to Guy, Guy is still addressing the king.

Fiorella: Perhaps if we tell the King about the Moon Treaty’s aim, to clear the air…

Guy: Ah! Yes. If Your Majesty would permit, I would like to explain the noble purpose of the treaty.

Panel 4
Angled shot so that we see Babbette up close and Reggie looming behind her. Babbette has a dubious look on her face; Reggie is looking dead serious.

Reggie: You may proceed.
